1. What theme could you use here at school to make your own mural that tells a unique Akins story? Be specific.  i would make a mural about the akins eagles flying over the other school mascots.

2. Why is this theme worth devoting time and effort to capture? Why would other students care about this theme? because they like being number one and the best.

3. What are the advantages and disadvantages to using a phone camera to do this project?- you can capture anythning on the go at any time but you have a shitty camera and have to adjust alot better.

4. What are the advantages and disadvantages to using an SLR camera to do this project?

5. Should we use phones or SLR cameras for this project? Why? we should use sla cameras becaue they are way bettter than most peoples cell phone plus the have alot more options that a phone wouldn't  have.

i think the author has great skills at photography he captures the animals in a interesting way that makes you want to stare.

to me it shows me new life in a barren world that even if the the old dies something new will start to take over.


defiantly the rule of thirds because when you split the picture into 9 squares its on the bottom right dot.
 

a.     What kind of camera did he use? -he uses a pentak 6711 with two fixed lens.

b.     What is his reason for taking the photos?- he wanted to take pictures of animals before there gone.

c.     What is his hope by taking these types of photos?-to prevent and show the world that we need to protect these animals

d.     Find something he has to say about Africa and post the quote on your blog- '' What I am interested in is showing the animals simply in the state of Being. In the state of Being before they are no longer are. Before, in the wild at least, they cease to exist.''

A.it shows you how Un-professional it is to use photo shop and how it changes you ideas on the photo and author.

B.I personally think its wrong unless its trying to be funny because you can take a  photo and just distort it to were every one believe what you want them to.

1.because with changeing the words and then shading the background to make it look more errie it changes your feeling towards it and makes you feel sorry when you should be like oh hes a murder.

2.its still unethical but i chose this photo because  its just her teeth and that shouldnt matter to people or should i care

This is my favorite photo because it shows you the power of mother nature while keeping the photo attractive to the viewer's.

Line - Lines are marks made by  brush's, pencil, pen, etc. Lines can vary in width, direction, curvature, length, or color.


Shape-
Geometric shapes such as circles, triangles or squares have perfect, uniform measurements and don't often appear in nature. Organic shapes are associated with things from the natural world, like plants and animals.

Color- the primary colors, secondary colors, and the tertiary (intermediate) colors. They also show the relationships between complementary colors

Value- refers to dark and light; the value scale refers to black and white with all gradations of gray in between.

Form -describes objects that are three-dimensional, having length, width, and height.

Texture -can be rough, bumpy, slick, scratchy, smooth, silky, soft, prickly--the list is endless.  Texture refers to the surface quality, both simulated and actual, of artwork.

Space-refers to distances or areas around, between, or within components of a piece.

Balance-There are three different types of balance: symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial.

Contrast- is created by using elements that conflict with one another. Often, contrast is created using complementary colors or extremely light and dark values.

Emphasis-in the focal area of an artwork gives it importance.  An artist may stress some elements of the design over others

Movement- in an artwork means the artist is taking viewers on a trip through the work by means of lines, edges, shapes, and colors often leading to the focal area.  Movement is a visual flow through the composition. It can be the suggestion of motion in a design as you move from object to object by way of placement and position

Pattern-are made in art when the same shapes or elements are repeated again and again.  Pattern uses the elements of art in planned or random repetitions to enhance surfaces of paintings or sculptures.

Rhythm-is the repetition of shapes, lines, and forms.  Rhythm is a movement in which some elements recurs regularly.  Like a dance, it will have a flow of objects that will seem to be like the beat of music.

Unity- means that all elements in an artwork are in harmony.  Unity brings together a composition with similar units.  For example, if your composition was using wavy lines and organic shapes you would stay with those types of lines and not put in even one geometric shape.
